Pala Petfood

Pala’s recipes have been created in collaboration with DogRisk, a leading independent research institution focusing on canine health and nutrition at the University of Helsinki.

For every kilo of Pala dog food, 3 kilos of raw materials are used. The ingredients are thoroughly mixed and mashed. The mixture is placed in sterile drying chambers where it is gently air-dried at low temperatures over an extended period of time until ideal moisture levels are achieved. This gentle process preserves the ingredients without breaking down proteins, enzymes and amino acids. Afterwards the mixture is cut into smaller pieces and packed immediately to preserve freshness.
