Collars for puppies
When buying a collar for your puppy, choose one that fits in size – even if your dog will outgrow it in 2 months. It is a good idea to choose a puppy collar that is highly adjustable – so your dog can wear it for a longer period of time. See our puppy collars here
Leashes for puppies
The most important thing is that the dog leash you choose is not too heavy - both in the fabric/band itself, but not least the carabiner. It is recommended to use the same length of dog leash at the beginning, so that the puppy does not get confused by the amount of leash it is given. You can therefore benefit from buying a 'regular leash' or an adjustable one that you do not adjust until the puppy is older.

Dog tags - mandatory from 4 months.
Hopefully you will never need your dog tag, but that is why it should still be on your dog – even if it is microchipped. The law states that the owner's name and address must be on the tag and that the dog must wear a tag from the age of 4 months. A phone number is not required by law, but it is a really good idea. Choose your dog tag here
Harness for puppies
It's a really good idea to teach your dog to walk with a harness from a puppy. A harness is both more comfortable and harder for your dog to get out of. You can find the selection of harnesses especially for puppies here
Dog bed / dog basket for puppy
A dog bed is not only a comfortable place for your puppy to take a nap, but also functions as your dog's sanctuary. Where it can go and be in peace. That's why it's also important that you tell others, children and adults, that when the dog is lying in its basket, it must not be disturbed. Whether you choose a basket or a pillow is up to you, but in general you can say that the basket is good for creating a little cozy corner for the dog. See the selection here .
Puppy food
A dog's gotta eat. Of course, your dog needs something to eat, and dog food is the best way to do that. You can get food specifically for puppies, so you can be sure that your dog gets everything it needs. There are puppy foods for small dog breeds, standard and large dog breeds. See them all here .
Treats and chews for your puppy
It's much easier to train your dog when you have some delicious treats. A delicious chew stick is great entertainment for your dog and can also be good for puppy teeth that itch. See the selection of treats and chew snacks for puppies here .
Puppy toys
The dog toy should fit your dog's size. When you choose dog toys made from natural materials such as wool, natural rubber and leather, you get toys that are naturally stimulating for your dog. Choose toys that fit your dog's size. See the selection of toys here
Shampoo
Your puppy will roll around in something sticky – it's a law of nature, I guess. That's why you need to use a mild shampoo that's specially formulated for dogs so your puppy doesn't get allergies or rashes. And get him used to being bathed from the time he's a puppy (remember lots of treats).
Puppy brush
The vast majority of dog breeds benefit from being brushed – especially long-haired ones, but also those with short hair. And it is easier to get a puppy used to being brushed than an adult dog. You will find everything for fur care, including conditioners and brushes, right here
Dog bags and dog bag holders
Yes, you have to pick up after your dog. Both because it is a pain to step on others and because there is a great risk of infection in areas with many dogs. Also, buy a bag holder that you can attach to your leash - then you will never leave without dog bags. Dog bags and holders can be found here
Toothbrush and toothpaste for your puppy
It's a really good idea to teach your dog how to have their teeth brushed. If you brush your dog's teeth regularly, you can postpone or completely avoid having your dog sedated for a dental cleaning at the vet.
Use a soft finger brush and start massaging your dog's outside mouth, then the inside of the teeth and gums.
Proceed slowly and calmly so that your puppy feels safe – brushing teeth should never be forced. Find it here
Bowls for water and food
Your dog should always have access to water. Choose food and water bowls that are the right size for your dog. We have many different ones that you can find here. You can also get a mat that protects the floor. See the full selection here
Dog bag
How should you transport your dog around? If you use public transport a lot, a carrier is a good idea. If you are taking your dog in the car, you may need a cage or a seat belt for your dog – for your dog's safety, but also for your own in case of an accident.
Stain and odor remover spray
Even if you manage to potty train your puppy to UG, it is almost inevitable that your puppy will have to relieve himself inside. So it is always good to have a stain and odor remover spray on hand. The stain and odor remover is specially designed to easily remove odors and stains from both vomit, urine and feces and makes your home free of stains and odors from your four-legged friend.
