Essential Balance is designed for dogs that need a little extra consideration – for example, with recurring loose stomachs, a need for lower protein content or as a single protein alternative at a reasonable price. Also suitable as a supplementary meal together with other Essentials variants.

1: The desire for a low-protein meal. There is only 22% in BALANCE. If you mix BALANCE with one of the LIVING meals, you can control the protein percentage slightly upwards.

2: The desire to solve a problem with loose stools. The combination of turkey, rice and oats is specially formulated to balance the stomach. ESSENTIAL BALANCE can be served alone, and can also be mixed with other meals for this challenge. The latter is obvious for recurring problems.

3: The desire for a meal from ESSENTIALS that is more affordable. An obvious choice for anyone who has had to opt out of ESSENTIALS due to the price, but is attracted by the values, mission and results. Large consumers without the opportunity to go the whole ESSENTIALS route now have a new option. It makes particular sense when BALANCE is supplemented with meals for current lifestyle situations, such as CONTOUR for sterilized dogs and LARGE BREED for large puppies, etc.

4: BALANCE is a single source protein meal. If you want to avoid, for example, eggs, chicken, lamb, beef or fish proteins, combined with a desire to serve ESSENTIALS, BALANCE is the obvious choice. Study the ingredient list yourself, or contact us for advice. Supplement with fresh protein sources that you do not react to, so that the protein intake is increased.

The small print
Price and quality go hand in hand. With BALANCE you get a fantastic product for the price, where the fact that turkey is the primary ingredient alone sets the product apart compared to other products in the same price range. But BALANCE is not a full-fledged ESSENTIALS meal, and the price difference means that you don't get BOF-approved, 100% grain-free, or the broad spectrum of ingredients in the bag.
