Here you will find suggestions for collars, harnesses and clothes for dogs of the cavapoo mixed breed. There is no standard size for the cavapoo as it is a new mixed breed. A cavapoo is a mix of a Cavalier King Charles and a poodle. The size of the cavapoo mainly depends on whether it is a standard poodle or a miniature poodle that is included in the mix.
Most Cavapoos we meet in Hunni weigh 6-8 kg. It is based on these measurements that we make size recommendations. Therefore, it is always a good idea to check the measurements on the different products for your dog.

Fur care for cavapoo
This small dog's mix gives rise to quite a varied coat structure within the same breed. Whereas a poodle is a "shedding dog" with a coat that grows and grows, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel is not meant to be sheared. It sheds instead and the coat structure is therefore very different. When you mix two breeds in this way, the coat can fall out to one side or the other, or become a mixture.
The coat of both breeds is similar in that they benefit from frequent and careful brushing. And they are in no way harmed by frequent bathing. The coat is medium long and tends to tangle easily, so we recommend using a conditioner spray on a daily basis to make the coat easier to comb through.
Dog blanket, raincoat, sweater and winter jacket for cavapoo
The challenge with clothes for a cavapoo is finding something that fits well for the slightly long but narrow dog.
The Paikka jackets, which are available in a rain and winter version, have good adjustment options and most cavapoos fit a size 30 or 35.

Dog collar for cavapoo
The challenge with a collar for a cavapoo is that the fur easily tangles and makes knots. Furthermore, this is a small dog that should not have a collar that is too heavy.
We find that many owners of this breed are happy with the round-stitched collars from Hunter, as they are light and do not create tangles in the fur. Dog harnesses for cavapoo
The challenge with harnesses for cavapoos, like with collars, is that they can tangle the fur. To avoid knots in the fur, we recommend a harness with as little surface area as possible. The Sonia Step-In Harnesses from Painters Wife are perfect for this. Most cavapoos fit a small.
