Our opening focused on all local dogs being able to bring their humans, and in that way piss off their territory, and knowing that the equivalent of Cætter BR for children is Hunni, just for dogs. Which has fortunately resulted in none of the local pooches going forward voluntarily going past the store.
Today was a really good day, when Bodil, our local bull terrier, sniffed by with her human. The sun was shining, and Bodil's human + friend, took advantage of our coffee, our bench and our sunshine on the sidewalk along the ramparts in Christianshavn.

Of course we are so happy that the local people are tempted by our coffee. It is so nice that our bench is used. And the sound of conversation, laughter and the smell of early spring outside our green, old door - it is just amazing.

On Saturday we opened the doors for real. And we honestly didn't know how the day would turn out. But everything went so well, so well. At one point there were probably more dogs than people.

All the furry types sat patiently waiting for treats, while their humans were treated to coffee and croissants - and no dogs behaved badly. Ergo, we can state that our hopes and wishes were fulfilled. That Hunni should be a place where you don't tie your dog up outside - but take it inside - because Hunni is for the dogs. So they are SO welcome. Always.
