Hunni Salon is part of Hunni. This means you'll experience the same love for dogs, the same values, and the same personal service you know from our store and webshop – now also in the form of professional grooming.
At the salon, Line is responsible for all treatments. Line is a City & Guilds Level 3-certified dog groomer, trained in London by Julie Lalou, and has been part of Hunni for several years, where many of our customers already know her from the store.

At Hunni Salon, we offer dog grooming in Copenhagen K for those who want it done properly – with a focus on both results and experience.
We have a huge love for dogs, and it's evident in our entire approach. It's not just about a beautiful cut, but about ensuring your dog feels safe and secure throughout the process.
Line will groom your dog as you wish. Whether you're looking for a breed-specific cut or a soft and fluffy teddy bear cut, the treatment is always tailored to both dog and owner. At the same time, we provide honest advice so that the result also works in everyday life.
Hunni Salon is for those who want a beautiful cut without compromising their dog's well-being.
Your dog's well-being comes first
Your dog's well-being is always our top priority. Therefore, we work at a calm pace and never rush a treatment. We do not offer extensive dematting if the coat is severely matted, as it would often be uncomfortable for the dog.
Instead, we have set a limit of max. 30 minutes for dematting. If that's not enough, we recommend a shorter cut so we can start fresh. Luckily, the coat grows back – and from there, we can work together towards the length and look you desire, in a way that is fair to your dog.
How a treatment at Hunni Salon works
When you drop off your dog, we always start with 5–10 minutes where we examine the coat together and align expectations.
We discuss how you would like your dog to be groomed and what makes the most sense based on the condition of the coat and your daily routine.
Afterward, you can safely leave your dog and go about your day.
Your dog is never left unsupervised on the grooming table, and Line ensures there are appropriate breaks throughout. Should anything arise during the treatment, we will, of course, contact you immediately.
As a general rule, we ask that you do not wait in the salon, as many dogs become more restless when their owner is present. However, there may be cases where it makes the most sense for both the dog and the result for you to stay. If you think this applies to your dog, please contact us in advance so we can arrange it.
Line's own dog, Alfred, will usually be present in the salon. If your dog does not thrive with other dogs in the same room, please let us know in advance – we will find a solution.
The salon is under video surveillance. Should unexpected questions arise or there be a need to review a session, we have the option to access the recordings.
What does it take for a good result?
To achieve the best result – and give your dog the best experience – it is important that they are used to being handled and brushed.
If you have a dog with a coat that requires grooming, it is a great advantage to accustom them to it from puppyhood. This makes the entire experience much more secure and fair for the dog.
If your dog is not used to going to a groomer, or has had a bad experience previously, we are happy to help with a calm and adapted process so they can learn at their own pace.
You are always welcome to contact us if you would like to know more about the possibilities 😊
