With this mild and effective dog toothpaste, you can take good care of your dog's teeth and gums with regular use.

The active ingredients gently remove plaque without damaging enamel or gums. Papain (from papaya), turmeric and coconut oil loosen plaque, reduce the risk of discoloration and promote healthy oral flora. Turmeric is known to relieve irritation and swelling of the gums, while the combination of turmeric and coconut oil is traditionally used to whiten teeth. The toothpaste is odorless and tasteless and suitable for all dogs.

Effect of main ingredients

Propanediol
A plant-based moisturizer with antibacterial properties. It is extracted from corn sugar.

Vegetable glycerin
Formed during the saponification of vegetable oils. As a natural and skin-compatible humectant, glycerin prevents the toothpaste from drying out.

Sorbitol
A sugar alcohol derived from cornstarch. It is a natural humectant and provides a smooth texture.

Silicic acid
A trace element that protects and strengthens teeth and supports the body's own protection of the oral mucosa. As a mild abrasive, silicic acid cleans teeth effectively without damaging the enamel.

Kaolin
Known for its mild cleansing effect, it is hypoallergenic, adheres well to the skin and acts as an excellent alternative to surfactants. It absorbs dirt and excess oil like blotting paper, so it can be easily rinsed away.

Papaya extract
Contains the enzyme papain. The highest concentrations are found in the green peel and seeds of unripe fruits. Due to its protein-digesting effect, the enzyme is considered an effective stain remover. Papain gently helps loosen plaque and remove discoloration.

Turmeric
Recommended by Indian researchers for its strengthening effect in dental care. It is said to make the gums more resilient and have a soothing effect.

Coconut oil
Has a melting point of approx. 25 °C. At cooler temperatures it is solid, but melts on contact with the skin. Coconut oil quickly penetrates the skin and provides an immediate softening and moisturizing effect without leaving a greasy film. At the same time, it absorbs body heat when it melts, and therefore has a slightly cooling effect - pleasant for irritated skin. The rapid absorption makes the oil very soft and comfortable. In addition, coconut oil has a slight deodorizing effect, as certain fatty acids are toxic to some bacteria. Together with turmeric, coconut oil is considered an insider tip for natural teeth whitening.

Xanthan gum
A natural thickener produced by fermentation of sugary substances. It has a moisture-binding effect and is also suitable for sensitive skin.

The sodium salt of citric acid
Regulates pH. Unlike human skin, dog skin is in a more neutral pH range (around 7.5). Human shampoos and care products are therefore unsuitable for dogs.

Citric acid
Regulates the pH value of the products. Unlike humans, dogs have a more neutral pH value, which is why human care products are not suitable for dogs.
